Description:
Chymotrypsin is a proteolytic enzyme obtained from bovine pancreas by aqueous acid excretion of its precursor, chymotrypsiriogen.
Each ampoule of CHYMOTRYPSIN contains 5000 U.S.P Units of Chymotrypsin.
Each ampoule (1ml) of solvent contains Sodium Chloride in water for injection as a diluent supplied.
A white lyophilized crystalline powder for injection in a clear and colourless ampoule and the clear and colourless solution, the diluent supplies, in a clear and colourless ampoule.
Indication:
Inflammation, edema, and haematoma resulting from serious accidental trauma or surgical trauma, arthritis, acute or chronic bronchitis, disorders of tracheal spatum, areolitis, areolitis, orchitis, rhinitis.
Dosage and Administration:
The recommended intramuscular dosage is 1 ampoule once daily.
