500mg/7ml 10's/box Cloxacillin Sodium Injection with Shinepharm
Indications:
This product is only suitable for the treatment of penicillinase staphylococcus infections, including sepsis, endocarditis, pneumonia and skin and soft tissue infections. It can also be used for mixed infections caused by Streptococcus pyogenes or pneumococcus and penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus.
Usage:
1. Intramuscular injection 2g per day for adults, divided into 4 times, and 4 times per day for children according to body weight 25-50mg /kg can be added for intramuscular injection to reduce local pain.
2. Adults were given 4 ~ 6g intravenously 2 ~ 4 times a day; Children are divided into 2 to 4 times a day according to body weight 50 to 10mg/kg.
3. Newborns weighing less than 2kg should be given 25mg/kg every 12 hours at 1 to 14 days of age and 25mg/kg every 8 hours at 15 to 30 days of age. For those weighing more than 2kg, the dosage is 25mg/kg every 8 hours for 1 to 14 days of age and 25mg/kg every 6 hours for 15 to 30 days of age.
Contra-indications:
Patients with a history of penicillin allergy or a positive penicillin skin test should be contraindicated.
Precautions & Warning:
1. Before the application of this product, please inquire about the history of drug allergy and carry out penicillin skin test.
2. Patients who are allergic to one type of penicillin may be allergic to other penicillins or penicillamine.
3. Patients with allergic diseases such as asthma, eczema, hay fever and urticaria should use this product with caution.
4. This product reduces the binding ability of bilirubin and serum protein in patients, and newborns, especially those with jaundice, should use this product with caution.
