Indications:

Gentamicin injection is indicated for the following conditions, when caused by susceptible organisms;
1.Urinary tract infections; (Not indicated for the treatment of uncomplicated urinary tract infections).
2.Systemic infections, e.g. Septicaemia, peritonitis;
3.Bone and soft-tissue infections, e.g. osteomyelitis, wound and soft-tissue infections;
4.Infected burns;
5.Infections of the respiratory tract e.g. Pneumonia.

Adverse reactions:
This product or other aminoglycosides allergic contraindicated. Poor effect on Streptococcus and Streptococcus pneumoniae, enterococcus were mostly resistant to this product.

Pregnancy and Lactation:
It should be used with caution in the first trimester of pregnancy since some fetus absorpLion has been observed.

Administration and Children:
For children, the dose should be chosen as follows: he dose for children should be decreased or increased on llie basis of individual weight or under the doctor's prescription.

Drug interactions:
Studies and reviews in the literature demonstrated that the active substance of Artemether had no interaclions with oilier drugs on decreasing therapeutic effects and increasing toxicity and side effects in human bodies.

Overdosage:
Although no case of overdosage has been documented, in case of accident,
symptomatic treatment is recommen- ded undre ihe instruction of doctors.
