	body weight less than 60kg	1 tablet of 200mg the 1st day,afterwards 1/2 tablet of 200mg per day
Childre up to 8 years		4mg/kg  body weight per day

Particular treatment
(GONNOCOCCUS ACUTE)
MALE ADULTS;
1st day: 1 tablet of 200mg in the morning;1/2tablet of 200mg before sleep;afterwards 1 tablet of 200mg per day for 2-4 days
A single does treatment can be organized in one short of 500mg.
FEMALE ADULTS 
1 tablet of 200mg per day
Syphilis primary and secondary
Early syphilis
(primary & secondary syphilis)
1 tablet of 200mg in the morning;1 tablet of 200 mg before sleep
treatment must be followed for minimum 2 weeks.
Late syphilis (tertiary syphilis)
1 tablet of 200mg in the morning;1 tablet of 200 ma. before sleep
treatment must be followed for minimum 4 weeks
URETHRITIS SIMPLE(CERVICITIS) TRACHOMA DUE To CHLAMYDIA
TRACHOMATIS:
1 tablet of 200mg per day 
treatment must be followed for minimum 10 days
ACNE VULGARIS ATTACK TREATMENT
1/2 tablet of 200 mg per day for 10 to 15 days. Afterwards 1/4 tablet of 200mg per day

This product must be taken during the meal or with a glass of water.
Doxycycline has low affinity for binding with calcium or ferrous sulphate.
Direct exposure to the sun or UV light should be avoided during the treatment.
In case of pregnancy or breast-feeding, inform the doctor.

Contra-indications
Allergy to tetracycline
Pregnant or nursing mothers
Children under 8 years

Interactions
-In patients treated with products which lower plasma concentration. Doxycycline dose should be reduced
-In case of simultaneous administration of medicines against epilepsy. Doxycycline dose should be doubledreuon
-Efficiency of oral contraceptives may be reduced
-Doxycycline should preferably not be associated with magnesium or preparations containing ferrous sulphate.
-Penicillin should not simultaneously be administered with Doxy-200.
