Benzylpenicillin Sodium Injection
Indications:
It is used for various infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as abscess, bacteremia, pneumonia and endocarditis.
Usage:
Adults: intramuscular injection, 800,000 ~ 2 million units per day, divided into 3 ~ 4 doses;
Intravenous infusion: 2 million to 20 million units per day, divided into 2 to 4 times.
Children: intramuscular injection, according to the body weight of 25,000 units /kg, once every 12 hours;
Intravenous infusion: daily according to the body weight of 50,000 ~ 200,000 /kg, divided into 2 ~ 4 times.
Contra-indications:
Patients with a history of penicillin allergy or a positive penicillin skin test should be contraindicated.
Precautions & Warning:
Instillation of this product with aminoglycoside antibiotics in the same bottle can lead to decreased antibacterial activity of both, so it cannot be administered in the same container.
